2009 Registration Information

Conference organizers invite students, faculty and the general public to the 2009 Midwest Slavic Conference to be held at the Blackwell Inn on the OSU campus. Thursday (April 16) will consist of the conference keynote address given by Dr. Dina Iordanova of St. Andrews University; a screening of Katyn by Polish filmmaker Andrzej Wajda; and the Opening Reception. Friday (April 17) will be a full day of panels and this year's luncheon talk, which will be given by Dr. Beth Holmgren of Duke University. Saturday (April 18) will again be a full day of panels.

Conference
All panels are free and open to the general public. Attendees are welcome to register on-site in Pfahl Hall of the Blackwell. For a complete list of panels, please see the 2009 Schedule to the left.

Keynote Address (5:00p.m.)
The keynote address is free and open to the general public.

Film Screening (7:00p.m.)
The Wexner Center charges for entrance to the film screenings ($5 for students, seniors and members; $7 for the general public) and tickets may be purchased at the Wexner ticket office. We encourage all who attend the keynote and/or reception to also attend the film screening.

Opening Reception (9:00p.m.)
The Opening Reception is free and open to the general public.

Luncheon Address
There is a $10 charge for the luncheon address and space is limited. Tickets may be purchased at the registration table in Pfahl Hall or RSVPs can be made to CSEES@osu.edu.
