Research in Polish Studies: Safety in Numbers-Group Linkages and the Persistence of Party Switching in Poland
The Polish Studies Initiative (PSI) invites all those interested in Poland and politics, as well as those considering applying for a PSI grant, to attend its 2014 Research in Polish Studies presentation. Peter Tunkis, Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Ohio State, will present the work he conducted in Poland in summer 2014. Tunkis received a grant from PSI to conduct research in Poland for three months. During this time, he interviewed former and current members of the Polish parliament to determine why they switch parties and identify with particular groups.
