The Center for Slavic and East European Studies (CSEES) at The Ohio State University (OSU) is seeking applications under the U. S. Department of Education’s Title VI Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship program for:

* Summer Quarter 2013
* Academic Year 2013-2014

These fellowships are available to all full-time graduate and professional students at all levels and in any department who are pursuing a course of study which requires advanced foreign language and area studies training. New! CSEES will be offering FLAS fellowships to undergraduate students at OSU! Students at the Advanced level (Russian) or Intermediate level (all other REE&E languages) will be eligible to apply for a Summer 2012 FLAS award for intensive language study.

The deadline for Summer 2012 and AY 2012-2013 is Friday, February 1, 2013 at 4:30pm EST.

Please note: the awarding of FLAS fellowships is dependent upon the availability of U.S. Dept. of Education Title VI funding.
