This year, the K-12 Global Fellowship Program will focus on the theme of Minority Issues around the World. Over a series of four Saturday meetings, teachers will explore minority issues in East Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East through readings, lectures, and guided discussion. Teachers may register for individual sessions, or all four. Participants will receive paid parking and a contact hour certificate.The first session will be hosted by the Center for Slavic and East European Studies on Saturday, November 17, 10AM-12PM: “Roma and Minorities in Southeastern Europe” by Dr. Sunnie Rucker-Chang, U. of Cincinnati.Please save the date for future sessions hosted by the Center for Latin American Studies, East Asian Studies Center, and the Middle East Studies Center!
