Adrijana Miladinović is a Ph.D. student and a Graduate Teaching Associate in the department of Sociology. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language, Literature, and Culture from the University of Belgrade in Serbia, and Master’s degrees in Sociology from Keio University in Japan and The Ohio State University. Her research has looked at racial/ethnic identities and integration of immigrants in the U.S. and Japan. In addition to her cross-cultural research and studies, she is serving as a member of the International Students Affairs Committee and is on the leadership board of the English Conversation Program at OSU. Adrijana is interested in culture, race and ethnicity, and integration, and is currently pursuing research on the relationship between racial/ethnic identity maintenance and everyday peace processes. A native speaker of Serbian, she is fluent in English, Japanese, and Spanish and has also studied German.
