2018 Russian Olympiada competitors at the College of Wooster

The 8th annual Russian Undergraduate Olympiada took place on Saturday, February 24th at the College of Wooster. Students from six Ohio colleges and universities competed in levels 1-5 and a heritage category.

The competition consisted of three rounds: an oral interview, poem recital, and a presentation based on a randomly assigned topic. In addition to practicing their Russian skills, the competition gave the students a chance to meet and network with other Russian language learners in the state of Ohio. Details regarding the 2019 Russian Olympiada will be announced in the autumn of 2018.
