Naomi Brenner studies modern Hebrew and Yiddish literature and culture, as well as literary theory and criticism. Her interests include the changing place of the writer in early twentieth-century Jewish culture, multilingualism within Israeli literature, the politics and poetics of translation, and literary constructions and deconstructions of gender.
