Margot Hare is pursuing a Master's degree in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies at CSEEES. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Russian, Linguistics, and Computer & Information Science. While in undergrad, she conducted research projects at OSU, North Carolina State University, and Stony Brook University, exploring phonology, machine learning algorithms, and the trend of Ukraine flag display on Twitter following Russia’s invasion. In summer 2023, she attended the Middlebury Language School of Russian and is continuing her Russian study. Margot plans to pursue a career in the intelligence community after graduation.
