The screening will be followed by a discussion of the film led by Mykyta Tyshchenko (PhD candidate in the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures). Synopsis: This dystopian post-apocalyptic film set in 2025 follows the story of Serhiy, a soldier suffering from PTSD, who befriends Katya, a young volunteer hoping to restore peaceful energy to a war-torn society. (IMDb) Directed by Valentyn Vasyanovych in 2019, Atlantis is 106 minutes long and is in Ukrainian with English subtitles. Attendance to the film screening and discussion is FREE.
