Join the Center for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (CSEEES) for an engaging workshop examining the Baltic Singing Revolution and its role in shaping modern independence movements in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Participants will explore how collective singing, cultural identity, and civic participation became powerful tools of nonviolent resistance during the late Soviet period. This workshop will feature Guntis Šmidchens (U. of Washington) as our guest expert.

Eligibility

This workshop is FREE and open to pre-service and in-service K-12 educators as well as community college instructors.
