This teacher training workshop will be led by Dr. Peter Tunkis (Ohio State U. alum), and will focus on broadening the participants’ knowledge of the European Union’s (EU) expansion into Central Europe and how new member states have integrated into the EU’s systems. This workshop will be the first of a two-part series that focuses on the case studies of Poland and Hungary in terms of emerging tensions with the EU. As part of this workshop, Dr. Tunkis will discuss some of the recent tensions between Poland and the EU.
Lunch and parking passes will be provided to all workshop participants.
