New Music Collective, in cooperation with The OSU Center for Slavic and East European Studies, presents a sound gallery/concert/public-art event: Krzysztof Topolski and Friends in Weigel Hall November 4, 2013 at 8:30 p.m.

From a recreation of percussionist/installation-artist Max Neuhaus’ outdoor performance event, American Can  to works by groundbreaking-composer Conlon Nancarrow and New-York-based composer Kyle Gann for the Bösendorfer 290SE computer-controlled piano--to soundscapes by visiting sound-artist Krzysztof Topolski and sonic meditations by Pauline Oliveros—the New Music Collective breaks out of the traditional concert mold and into an evening of engaging, entertaining, and enlightening contemporary music.
