The 9th annual Russian Undergraduate Olympiada will take place on Saturday, February 23rd at Kent State University. The Olympiada of Spoken Russian is open to college students studying Russian at an Ohio college or university, or in a neighboring state. As part of the competition, students complete three tasks: an oral interview, poem recital, and topical presentation. All students regardless of level or years of study are encouraged to participate in this fun event to demonstrate their Russian speaking skills, meet students from across the state who are also studying Russian, and learn about different programs and opportunities for students. To learn more about the competition format and to register, please visit the Olympiada webpage. This year, the Olympiada is hosted and sponsored by Kent State University.
