PhD candidate Nicole (Nikki) Freeman traveled to Warsaw, Poland in the summer of 2015 with funding from the Polish Studies Initiative to spend a week researching the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. The museum's core exhibition opened in October 2014 and the museum is located on the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto. Freeman will discuss the history of the museum and her analysis of its core exhibition.
