Join the CSEEES and the East Asian Studies Center for "Pursuing a Career in Critical Languages: Supporting National Intelligence in the Midwest" with Riverside Research. Riverside Research is an independent nonprofit that provides objective views to the defense industrial base and to their customers.  

In this presentation, Eric Connelly, an Ohio State alumnus of the Center for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (BA '14, MA/MPA, '18)  and Michelle McKenzie, an Ohio State alumna of the Department of Linguistics and the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures (BA '19, BA '19) will introduce you to Riverside Research, an independent nonprofit focused on the nation’s security. Riverside Research supports national security interests in the Buckeye State. Connelly and McKenzie will talk about how professionals with expertise in critical languages are in high demand, and the opportunities available may be closer to home than one might expect.
