2022 Ohio Undergraduate Russian, East European and Eurasian Research Forum Results

Soviet Union Study! poster

On Tuesday, November 15, three students of Russian, East European and Eurasian studies from across the state of Ohio participated in the 2022 Ohio Undergraduate Russian, East European, and Eurasian (REEE) Research Forum. The students pre-recorded themselves giving a five-minute slide presentation to give a visual overview that highlighted their undergraduate research projects. Each presentation was played for a panel of judges and live audience. During the event, they were asked questions by the judges, Dr. Venelin Ganev (Miami U.) and Dr. Mary Erdmans (Case Western Reserve U.). The presentations were scored based on clarity of argument, uniqueness of research, presentation design, and oral articulation. All of the students did excellent jobs on their projects, and it was fascinating to see the diversity of topics, issues, and countries covered. Congratulations to our participants and we can't wait to see where your research takes you!
