The Midwest Slavic Association invites graduate and undergraduate students to submit essays for consideration for the annual Student Essay Prize Competition.  One undergraduate and graduate paper will be choosen as the best paper for the Midwest region and the winners will receive a free 2014 membership to the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES).  The best graduate submission will then also be entered into the ASEEES Student Essay Prize competition at the national level.  The national winner receives an additional year memebership to ASEEES, plus travel, lodging, and registration for the 2014 ASEEES Annual Convention.  More details can be found on the Midwest Slavic Association's page.
