CSEEES Director Angela Brintlinger and Affiliate Faculty Members Yana Hashamova and Dorothy Noyes Awarded GAHDT Grant

The Center for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (CSEEES) is excited to announce that Director Angela Brintlinger, Yana Hashamova (former Director of CSEEES and current affiliate faculty member), and Dorothy Noyes (current affiliate faculty member and Director of the Mershon Center for International Security Studies) have received a Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme (GAHDT) Centers + Institutes Grant for 2023-24. This funding enhances the university’s capacity for cross-disciplinary research, creative expression, teaching and outreach by newly building on centers’ and institutes’ existing strengths to foreground the transformative role of the arts and humanities in the twenty-first century.
