The 2022-23 academic year was marked by the continuation of Russia's war on Ukraine and heightened interest in the region, and further loosening of pandemic-related restrictions, allowing a return to in-person programming. CSEEES continued to spread knowledge of the region, award students with FLAS fellowships, create professional development opportunities for K-14 educators, support visiting scholars, and much more.
