CSEES has awarded a bumper number of 2019-20 Academic Year Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships, awarding 18 fellowships total representing $278,390 of funding for undergraduate and graduate students at The Ohio State University. Eight graduate students received the fellowship and 10 undergraduate students. The FLAS Fellowship is made possible through a Title VI Foreign Language and Area Studies grant from the International and Foreign Language Education division of the U.S. Department of Education, as well as generous matching funding from OSU's Graduate School.
