Resources for CSEES MA Students

CSEES MA students are encouraged to meet with the assistant director at least once per year to discuss career goals and establish a clear plan for professional development over the time of the MA program.  Each fall, CSEES also offers resume, cover letter, and job search workshops to assist students as the prepare for the job search process.

OSU Resources

Buckeye Careers is a resource open to all OSU students and provides information on jobs, internships, and learning modules.

The College of Arts and Sciences' Career Services is primarily designed for undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences, but its website contains good information on career fairs at OSU and guides and tip sheets for resumes, etc.

The Office of Student Life's Career Counseling and Support Services is another general OSU resource for students that provides useful information on preparing for job applications and interviews.

External Resources

The following is a list of websites and career boards that are regularly checked by CSEES staff.  This is by no means a comprehensive list or meant as an endorsement of particular sectors or careers, but can serve as a starting point for students in their career search.
