To aid students in the job search process both the Center for Slavic and East European Studies (CSEES) and The Ohio State University (OSU) offer a variety career resources.
Monthly Job List
Each month, CSEES collects job postings related to Eastern Europe and Eurasia and sends out a monthly listing. Jobs represented come from the government, non-profit, higher education, public and private sectors. To sign-up for this free newsletter, please complete the following form.
Resources for CSEES MA Students
CSEES MA students are encouraged to meet with the assistant director at least once per year to discuss career goals and establish a clear plan for professional development over the time of the MA program. Each fall, CSEES also offers resume, cover letter, and job search workshops to assist students as the prepare for the job search process.
Buckeye Careers is a resource open to all OSU students and provides information on jobs, internships, and learning modules.
The College of Arts and Sciences' Career Services is primarily designed for undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences, but its website contains good information on career fairs at OSU and guides and tip sheets for resumes, etc.
The Office of Student Life's Career Counseling and Support Services is another general OSU resource for students that provides useful information on preparing for job applications and interviews.
