The Center for Slavic and East European Studie and the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures are organizing the Ohio K-12 Russian Language Olympiada on the campus of Ohio State University. This Russian language competition is open to students at all K-12 schools throughout Ohio who are studying Russian. Students will compete at three different levels, completing a variety of different activities throughout the day to demonstrate their spoken language competence. Interested teachers can find full information on the competition and its format through the American Council of Teachers of Russian webpage devoted to the Olympiada of Spoken Russian. Teachers must register there students in advance through the ACTR website.
