Join CSEEES and the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) at The University of Texas at Austin for a special event with author Sonya Bilocerkowycz who will talk about her book On Our Way Home from the Revolution.
The Youth Activism and Resilience Book Club for Educators is part of the World Area Book Club, an ongoing virtual professional development initiative that brings K-14 educators together through discussions about books that cover a wide range of global topics. Participants are able to engage with authors, speakers from various U.S. Department of Education Title VI National Resource Centers (NRCs), and other experts across the United States.
These book clubs are IMMENSELY popular, so please only register if you are going to attend ALL virtual sessions! This series is open to K-14 educators across the United States and two registration options are available. Participants can either pay a $25 fee to have all books sent to them or they can register for the discussion session for free, but must purchase/borrow the books themselves.
