2019 Midwest Slavic Conference CFP Extension

The deadline for submitting abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the 2019 Midwest Slavic Conference has been extended to Monday, January 21! The conference will take place Friday, April 5 - Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the main campus of Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio. Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the fall of communism in Central and Eastern Europe, the theme of this year's Midwest Slavic Conference will focus on the effects that the events of 1989 had on the countries in those regions. Conference organizers invite proposals for panels or individual papers addressing all topics related to this theme, as well as papers and panels addressing topics or countries unrelated to the theme.
