Map of Eastern Europe

Congratulations to the participants of the Ohio Undergraduate Russian, East European, and Eurasian Research Forum! On Thursday, November 19, five students highlighted their undergraduate research projects to a panel of judges and live audience. The students pre-recorded themselves giving a five-minute slide presentation to give a visual overview of their research. During the event, they were asked questions by the judges, Dr. Irina Stakhanova (Bowling Green State University) and Dr. Lorraine Wallace (Ohio State). The presentations were scored based on clarity of argument, uniqueness of research, presentation design, and oral articulation. All of the students did excellent jobs on their projects, and it was fascinating to see the diversity of topics, issues, and countries covered.
