The Center for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (CSEEES) is pleased to recognize Dr. Alexander Burry (Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures) on his selection for an AATSEEL Award honoring exceptional service to the field.

This award is given to AATSEEL members at any stage of their career whose contributions to the organization’s programming and activities broaden national engagement with Slavic, East European, and Eurasian languages, literatures, and cultures; substantively enrich the teaching experiences and skills of AATSEEL members; expand access to new research methodologies, resources, or archives; or provide significant support to the organization itself.
