On Friday, August 19 CSEEES welcomed two new students to its MA in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies, as well as seven returning students: Shannon Curley, Kyle Erickson, Joe Ernst, Isobel Hooker, Nancy Pellegrino, Yasha Shatalov, and Jake Wuensch. We are excited to have Will Berlage and Alex Yavornitzky join our program:

• Will completed dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Russian at College of the Holy Cross. Will plans to work in the government sector or in business and hopes that his continued studies in Russian language, culture, and society will help to further his future career goals. 
• Alex also completed dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Russian at The Ohio State University and spent the following two years living and working in Togliatti, Russia. Alex has a broad interest in both law and public health and is excited to study these topics alongside his passion for Russia while narrowing in on a specific area of focus.
