CSEEES Welcomes 2026-27 MA Cohort
On Friday, August 21 CSEEES welcomed two new students to its MA in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies, as well as returning students Elena Burger, Quinn Cline-Cook, Owen McNeely, Tomas Scott, and Parker Tysinger. This year, Owen will serve as CSEEES' Graduate Student Representative and will act as a liaison between the Center staff and its students. We are excited to have the following students join our program:
- Luke Guzy holds a BA in History from The Ohio State University. His research focuses on the Polish military’s resistance to Nazi occupation and its post‑war struggles, and how that informs contemporary understandings of Poland’s geopolitical outlook and national resilience.
- Luca Ragnelli holds a BA in International Security Studies and International Relations from Duquesne University. His primary research interests are security in Eastern Europe, transnational organized crime and Russian foreign affairs.
This year's students study Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian, Hebrew, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Turkish and Yiddish as well as area studies coursework.
Join us in welcoming our new and returning students!
