OSU faculty Dr. Jennifer Mitzen and University of Belgrade professor Dr. Filip Ejdus joined forces in 2021 to develop a one-day symposium exploring the rising field of ontological security and routines in international relations. With funding and logistical support from the Serbian Educational Alliance (SEA), with which both Dr. Mitzen and Dr. Ejdus are affiliated, "What States Do, Who States Are: Routines, Foreign Policy, and International Politics" took place at Ohio State on April 4, 2022. The symposium featured international relations experts from Serbia, Germany, and across the United States, as well as OSU graduate and PhD students, faculty, and staff to listen and contribute to groundbreaking discussions. The SEA is thrilled with our continued partnership between OSU and University of Belgrade and the incredible collaborations and projects it has developed. For more information about the Serbian Educational Alliance’s projects and ongoing programs, visit our webpage.
