Nine students from CSEES recently volunteered at a charity event. On Oct. 25, the group traveled to Gahanna, Ohio, to help at the Fit for Freedom 5k Race. Fit for
Freedom is part of the Central Ohio Rescue and Restore Coalition. Their mission is to support human trafficking survivors. One of our MA students, Karolina Chimchenko, previously worked with Fit for Freedom and organized the race.
The volunteer group set up the race course, helped to sign in participants and directed runners during the 5k. We had a wonderful time supporting Fit for Freedom’s mission!
