Parker Tysinger is pursuing a Master's degree in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies at CSEEES. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History with minors in Medieval Studies, Art History, Women’s Studies, and Religious Studies from Purdue University Fort Wayne. During undergrad, she researched children’s experiences during the Holocaust, the effect of imperialism on Ukrainian culture, and the power of art, war, and imperialism. Parker is also interested in using the digital humanities to make scholarship more accessible to wider audiences. In summer 2025, she attended an intensive Yiddish course and will be studying Yiddish and Polish.
