CSEEES Affiliate Faculty and Campus Partners Lauded

The Center for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (CSEEES) is delighted to share the news that a number of our affiliate faculty members and campus partners have been recognized for their excellence in teaching and research.
Angela Brintlinger, CSEEES Director, has received the 2024-2025 Harlan Hatcher Arts and Sciences Distinguished Faculty Award
Theodora Dragostinova, History, was awarded a 2025 ACLS Fellowship from the American Council of Learned Societies
Danielle Fosler-Lussier, Music, has received the 2025 Distinguished Scholar Award
Yana Hashamova, Slavic Languages and Cultures, won the American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages (AATSEEL) Prize for Outstanding Contribution to the Profession
David Hoffmann, History, has received The Ohio State University's 2025 Graduate Faculty Mentor Award
Robin Judd, History, has been named College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Professor
Jennifer Mitzen, Political Science, has been selected to win a Joan N. Huber Faculty Fellowship
Hollie Nyseth Nzitatira, Sociology, has received the Community Engaged Scholar Award and the Mid-Career Faculty Excellence Award
We also congratulate our colleague Richard Meltz of the International Studies Program for being recognized with the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Staff Award. His work developing internships for International Studies students has greatly benefitted CSEEES, and we thank him for connecting us with excellent interns over the years.
