As Pride Month comes to a close, CSEEES wants to ensure you make the most out of June. We cultivated a list of LGBTQ+ resources from the region  to help you celebrate Pride Month and learn more about the LGBTQ+ community in Eastern Europe and Eurasia!

News Organizations and Reports

LGBTQ+ Advocacy Groups

  • East Meets West - yearly meeting of LGBTQ+ groups from across the world, promoting social acceptance and collaboration
  • Federation of Equality Signs - a federation of LGBTQ+ groups in Poland. Their website is not entirely in English, but it can mostly be translated using an app or website.
  • Stonewall Poland - a LGBTQ+ organization that fights for equal rights in Poland
  • Trans*parent - a Czech group specifically advocating for Trans rights in Czechia:
  • Alliance Global - a Ukrainian organization that connects people with all sorts of resources, like psychologists, shelters, food, etc.
  • ERA (Equal Rights Association) - a regional association of organizations from the Western Balkans and Türkiye
  • LGBTQ+ Victory Institute - LGBTQ+ advocacy group located in The Balkans
  • Rainbow House - a group in Belgium that is an international collaboration effort
  • Kwitne Queer - helps ensure queer Ukrainians in Germany have equal opportunities to their peers
  • Russian LGBT Network  - a Russian advocacy group for LGBTQ+ rights
  • Queer Nothilfe Ukraine - a group dedicated to supporting queer Ukrainians. The page is not in English and may need an app or a website                                                                                  
  • Insight - a group based in Ukraine that advocates for LGBTQ+ rights, as well as provide legal, medical, and psychological support
  • The Sphere Foundation - provides a variety of support systems to LGBTQ+ people in Russia
  • MCC - provides resources to LGBTQ+ individuals in Russia
  • Translyaciya - aims to improve the quality of life for trans people in Russia
